Daniel, Julie, Nehemiah, and Eden Mesa have worked as a pastoral family from 2000 to 2007 in Michigan, USA. They labored as missionaries in Chicago, IL for a year and a half, and now they are currently working again for the Lord as a pastor family. As the Vice-Principal of Spirituality and Media Director at the Laurelwood Academy, OR, Daniel is excited to see what God has in mind for more ministry.
Daniel also worked in North America for 3 years as a missionary Bible instructor before pastoral ministry, and Julie was in South America for 8 months as a student missionary. Together now with their cherished and beloved children, they have followed the Lord's bidding to work sacrificially again.
As an ordained minister of the gospel, Pastor Mesa works with the Chicago Outpost Ministry in various ways. His three fold choices of ministry, including media, public preaching, and training have taken him many places. He has been to Honduras, Panama, Bolivia, Brazil, Africa, Zanzibar, Canada, and Romania.
He also has interests in music, both Windows and Macintosh computers, reading, nature, and of course spending good quality time with his incredible family. =)
Julie, an RN, has great capabilities in cooking, teaching, organization, public speaking, and a slew of other God given gifts. She has committed herself though, to the God ordained responsibility of raising her precious children. Nehemiah and Eden are 6 and 3 years old at the end of 2008.
Pastor Daniel has trained in personal spirituality and Bible work with C.A.M.P.U.S. for 3 years, the MI Conference in various ways (at 2 camp meetings, 3 Personal Evangelism Preparations weekends, and local churches), various weekend seminars in churches in the United States, at G.Y.C. of 2006, at A.S.I. and has trained and worked at length in Romania with C.P.M.R.
