Hello friends and spiritual family. It’s been months since writing, due to travels to Romania. A lot has happened, and I’ll give you a brief rundown on my own life in the past months (Pastor Daniel Mesa)...

  1. God gave me opportunity to baptize a wonderful Christian while in Romania – Angel Cristi Daniel. He’s a young man coming from a similar background as I’ve had, total godlessness. Today he’s a full time missionary. After an appeal at his baptism, his father and mother stood up for baptismal studies. His mother was recently baptized too. Amen!
  2. God also gave me the pleasure of baptizing Johann while in Romania. He was baptized for the first time as an Adventist—a Pentecostal before that. His story is long and amazing. He’s in his mid to late 50’s and has been working in a nearby Icelandic prison (where he's from), studying with people who have found new hope in the Bible.
  3. Zoltan from Romania was given a new heart and was lead to rebaptism! I was able to hold that service too, just days before leaving that memorable place.
  4. The Spirit worked it out so I’ve preached to 1000’s of people calling them all to various decisions.
  5. God gave me inspiration through Louis Torres to write a book. It’s currently being edited. It’s a compilation of Bible stories that reflect the end of time; most of them in ways I’ve not heard others present them. I know people from my travels that said they would help by getting the book translated into Romanian, Hungarian, Icelandic, Shona (the language of Zimbabwe), Bulgarian and Portuguese! Amen! More on this later…
  6. I was able to work together with Louis Torres in a God-blessed training series, one week long for around 170 pastors, laymen, and current workers for God.
  7. The Lord gave me opportunity to hold a series of meetings in a church that had 4 members. I called 7 people to a decision about baptism! 2 of them were re-baptism, so the Lord increased the church by 125%!
  8. Before leaving, I was able to lay hands on and ordain two fine young men into God’s church: Clayton Lorenz and Rue Silvera. I was surprised that they had never been ordained as elders. They are full time workers for God, training people to win souls for Him! See what they do here: www.CPMR.ro.

I’ve not told you the story of a man I was able to baptize a while ago, who will remain anonymous. He had been a member of another Protestant church for many years before becoming an Adventist. He was introduced to a local doctor at the church he was visiting, and finally got up the courage to ask him to perform a surgery for him. The doctor said no way!
You see, the man had been involved with homosexuality since 19 years old, and had, even during the many years of being a Christian, been with many men. In fact, he told me he had been with over 2000 (two thousand) men since the end of his youth: doctors, leaders in the church, government officials, professional sports players, and many others I cannot recall.
After doing some study about the physical body, and spending time in much prayer, he finally gained the courage to ask the doctor for castration. … and it worked. He gained victory over the lust he had been enslaved to since many years before—he was 50 something. I was honored to baptize him for the first time into the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a victorious Christian with a new heart and a new focus. AMEN!

About the team… AD had accepted to work southern Illinois with a local family to spread the gospel in another area of the Lord’s vineyard, but I just heard today that he is interested to go to the new Weimar College l in Northern California with one of our previous workers! I hope that works out for them. Chad and Fadia Kreuzer (aka Chadia) have taken a short term call to work in Arkansas to continue spreading the Good News of salvation and prepare the Daniel chapter 2 Documentary (more about that in a coming promo flash-video). Jeremy and I are still here at the .COM home front in northern Illinois praying about what we can do for the Lord while here, and wherever He leads us.
Yes, we are spreading out, even if our name is CHICAGO Outpost… The Lord has been providing for us, but we’re all trying to find out if He would like us to have a stable job with stable pay as well!! =) Therefore, we are putting out resumes and seeking God’s providence in prayer.

If any of you have suggestions, we’re open to hear what you have in mind!

The .COM team.
